Acrylic Landscape Painting Workshop

Let Florence show you the skills and techniques you need to create your own stunning landscape painting in this acrylic painting workshop. You will not only learn the fundamentals of acrylic painting, leave with your own finished canvas, and enjoy a delicious lunch but also get your own set of Amsterdam Paints and a set of brushes so you can continue your practice at home.

Go beyond the Paint and Sip model of workshops and learn the basics of working with acrylic paints so that you understand how to paint your own landscapes at home with your new paint kit. You will start the day learning about the fundamentals of how to paint with acrylic paints, colour mixing, composition principles and light observation. You will then work on the class project landscape where you will complete a focused study on light and shadow so that you are able to look at any scene and create it realistically.

After an all organic locally sourced lunch and coffee you will begin your individual project on your canvas from a reference photo you bring or from one of the ones we have of the local area! Using all the skills you learnt in the morning session and under the guidance of Florence you will create your own landscape painting that you will be proud to hang on your wall!
