“I had an amazing time at Heart of the Horse with Rachel and her gorgeous team of therapy animals. If you’re looking for practical advice during a tough time, this is the place for you. Rachael taught me so many things I couldn’t possibly list them here. Crucial skills are needed to get through life with a good attitude, even when things are tough. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, and the property is stunning. I now have skills I can go away with and pass on to others. So grateful to have found the heart of the horse, I will be a returning customer.” Dari, Geelong

“A magical experience. I spoilt myself for my 62nd birthday. What a treat. Wonderful food, great accomodation, beautiful home to enjoy, so many special views. Rachel is a very fun, caring, nurturing & knowledgeable person. She is very generous with her time & a great cook & facilitator. I learned a lot about healing and caring for myself. I really enjoyed doing kundalini yoga; it wasn’t too hard. It was very special seeing the horses when the tent window was opened. The four horses were beautiful and so different. I loved interacting with them; being in their presence was so powerful. The healing and energy they give are incredible. It was lovely to be with two others doing the retreat. Very cozy & intimate. I recommend anyone who wants a special experience to do this retreat.” Barb, Victoria

“My exploration of self brought me to Heart of the Horse. Why? Because I’ve been laughing at the constant questions of “What is my soul’s purpose?” and “Why am I here? “, “What is the point?”. And I also really wanted to get out of the city. So I made my way to Heart of the Horse retreat by train to Malmsbury to be picked up by Rachael. I had no expectation other than to be close to nature and four healing horses. The 3-day, 2-night retreat was magical: being with the herd, being with self, being with Kasey and Leela, the dogs, and being with a fellow retreater and Rachael. Waking with the sunrise, breathing the clean air, Kundalini yoga in the bell tent, being present with the horses, reading more self-help books lol, eating nourishing food, drinking cleansing teas, exploring, bathing, caring massage from Ang, meditating and slipping into a deep sleep after the sun sets. It was a refreshing, revitalizing, remarkable time. I loved the synchronicities, the affirmation, the closeness to peace.” Lou, Melbourne
