Share a picture or video of your naturally cool autumn adventure on Instagram for the chance to win a $1150 Macedon Ranges escape! It could be a snap on your Pie & Tart Trail adventure, a great shot at a ticketed event, a video of your Tipple Trail experience or a beautiful pic enjoying our Autumn Leaf Colour Trail.

How to enter
- Snap a great pic or video at one of the official events or activities listed on the 2023 Autumn Festival events program from 1 April to 30 April 2023.
- Upload to your Instagram newsfeed (not stories).
- Write a caption telling us which event or activity you went to, and what you loved most about the experience.
- Add the tag #NaturallyCoolAutumnAdventure2023 and mention @visitmacedonranges

About Braeside Mt Macedon Country Retreat
Set amongst picturesque English-style gardens on 27 acres of hillside bushland, award-winning Braeside Mt Macedon is the perfect country escape.
Three private self-contained cottages are located in the gardens, sleeping from two to five guests. High quality linen, over-sized towels, luxurious robes and L’Occitane amenities are provided. Each cottage is stocked with breakfast provisions including homemade bread and granola, farm fresh eggs, locally cured bacon, yoghurt, fresh juices, homemade jams, locally roasted coffee, teas and infusions.
The property is home to abundant wildlife with kangaroos, wombats, parrots, ducks, and many native birds amongst the daily visitors. Braeside Mt Macedon is the ideal place to just sit back and relax or as a base to explore the Macedon Ranges. It’s walking distance to Mount Towrong Winery, Mount Macedon Village and only five minutes to open gardens, Mount Macedon Regional Park and Hanging Rock.
Famous for magnificent autumn colours and exclusive private gardens, Mount Macedon also provides opportunities for walking, cycling, shopping, exploring country villages, cellar doors, markets, cafes and restaurants. Braeside Mt Macedon is also available exclusively for weddings and private gatherings.

By entering this competition you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
- You must be 18 and over to enter. Proof of age may be requested.
- The competitions will open at 12.01am on 1 April and close at 11.59pm (AEST) on 30 April 2023. Only entries received during these dates and follow all of the above ‘how to enter’ steps will be eligible.
- One winner will be selected at random by Visit Macedon Ranges by Thursday 4 May. The winner will be notified via Instagram messenger by 5pm Thursday 4 May.
- If the winner fails to respond and accept the prize within two weeks of contact, we reserve the right to draw a new winner. The winner’s name will be published on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
- Accommodation is subject to availability. The stay must be across consecutive dates and cannot be split up. Winner must comply with the accommodation provider’s standard booking, change and cancellation conditions. If winner fails to show up to the booking the stay is forfeited. Once winner has accepted the prize, Visit Macedon Ranges will put them in direct contact with the proprietor to arrange a booking directly. Once the booking has been confirmed, all further dealings are to be between the winner and the proprietor, and Visit Macedon Ranges is no longer involved.
- This prize is fully transferrable and not redeemable for cash. Vouchers are valid for one-time use only and cannot be split. Any difference above the value of the voucher is the responsibility of the winner.
- Winner’s name will be published at mrsc.vic.gov.au/autumn-fest and on Council social media pages and other festival communications.
- All entrants agree to their caption and tagged image/video being used on Visit Macedon Ranges social media pages, website and festival promotional activity.
- Macedon Ranges Shire Council is not liable for any prizes/experiences included in this giveaway.
