Garden festivals and peony picking
The Macedon Ranges is a garden lovers’ paradise and also home to a number of flower farms. Peonies grow beautifully in the region, attracting visitors from far and wide each year to pick their own pretty blooms.
Peony Picking
On select dates during November and early December you can pick peonies directly from the fields at Romswood Peony Farm and Spring Hill Peony Farm. Their paddock open days invite you to wander the peony fields and enjoy a picnic in their paddock.
You’ll also spot a number of flower farmers with farmgate stalls as you drive through the Macedon Ranges, including the Woodend Flower Farm (their dahlias are just beautiful!).
