Immerse yourself in country-style living at Gisborne Peak Winery Cottages.  The self-contained cottages are designed to give visitors an authentic vineyard experience.  Settle in to a private, self-contained cottage situated above the vineyard with views of the surrounding countryside and explore the Macedon Ranges.

Each cottage has its own private balcony with table and chairs and BBQ perfect for watching the native birds and admiring the native plants that surround each cottage.  Or go for a walk amongst the vines.   Each cottage features a separate lounge area and kitchenette adjacent to the bedroom and ensuite. Undercover parking is available.  Once inside your cottage you will find a breakfast hamper to cook and enjoy at your leisure.

Located on 18 acres of land, 13.5 of which are planted to vines, you will find seclusion, tranquillity and privacy.  You set your own pace.  The winery cellar door is just a short stroll down the hill where you can indulge in cellar door snacks and shared dishes including wood-fired pizzas or grazing platters and cheese boards.  Wine tasting is free for our cottage guests who book through us and includes estate grown wines and our second label, Peak Wines.  Lunch is served every day along with coffee and desserts.

As we are not open for dinner bring along something to cook in the electric fry pan, microwave oven or BBQ or dine out in Gisborne or Sunbury or surrounds.

All this, yet set in an ‘off-grid’ block.  The cottages are powered by the sun and the wind.  The site utilizes the latest technology in inverters and battery storage to ensure sustainability and to be kind to the environment.  It is a place where luxury, fine food, excellent wines and sustainability all come together.

The cottages are furnished with an eye for design and detail.  There are DVD’s, books, magazines, games and even a Sudoku board.  However, nature abounds and just relaxing or walking seem to be the most popular pastimes.

Gisborne South is just 45 minutes from Melbourne up the Calder Freeway towards Bendigo.  It is the perfect launching point to explore Daylesford and the Macedon Ranges.  The villages of the Macedon Ranges are quaint and each one unique.  The mysterious Hanging Rock is just 20 minutes away as is stately Mt. Macedon with its hillside stations, homes and gardens.  Autumn is a very popular time in the region thanks to the many, many deciduous trees planted by the early settlers to the area. Daylesford is a 50 minute drive via the café-culture village of Woodend and Kyneton.  The area is home to artist’s galleries, gardens and nurseries, cultural events, ‘hatted’ regional restaurants, mineral water and natural beauty.  Come and be part of it.
